* How does a Mobile Mechanic Work?

It's super easy and you don't need to go anywhere, we come to you! Just use our website to tell us what you need done, pick a time and a place, and book your appointment. We will come to your location and perform the service right there. After your service is complete we will process the billing and send you a service receipt. You can also rate your service experience.

* I don’t know what’s wrong with my car. What can I do?

You can book an appointment for a Initial Diagnostics/Car Won't Start, We send a mechanic to come out to you, and inspect your car. They will provide their inspection report to you and recommend services that your car needs.

*How soon can I get a mechanic?

We have mechanics available 5 days a week from 9am to 5pm. Depending on the availability of parts, we are usually able to provide services the next day, though the mechanics tend to get booked rather quickly. You can see a mechanic availability after you request a quote.

*What if the mechanic is late?

Please allow 15 minutes for your mechanic to arrive. Sometimes mechanics get caught in traffic or a previous job takes longer than expected. We do apologize if this is the case. The mechanic will contact you to notify you of his/her new arrival time or to reschedule if is necessary.

*Can I provide my own parts?

Yes, you are welcome to buy your own parts and book one of our mechanics to install them. Please note: when you provide your own parts, our service warranty is voided.

* Does the Oil Change include a new oil filter?

Yes, all oil changes Included Up to 5 quarts of Full Synthetic & Oil filter. We can install your high quality OEM filter if you provide it to us. Note: when you provide your own parts, our service warranty is voided.

* Do I have to be present while you work on my car?

No, our mechanic will be in touch with you before your appointment to collect your keys and work on your car while you go about with your day, but we will communicated via phone or text if necessary.

* What if I need to cancel or re-schedule my appointment?

If you let us know with at least 8 hours in advance we won’t charge you any fee and will be happy to reschedule you for another date. However, if our mechanic has already departed in route to your appointment we’ll have to charge our $19.99 cancellation fee.

* Do you provide a warranty for you services?

We stand behind the workmanship and parts provided by us. Every service booked through SAR Mobile Mechanics comes with a 90 days / 3,000-mile (whichever comes first) warranty, measured from the date the services are provided or the odometer reading shown on the applicable invoice.

* What do I do if something is wrong after my service?

Please contact us immediately to schedule you for a warranty visit.

* What Area or cities do you serve?

We are currently available in the following towns: Bloomfield, Cromwell, East Hartford, Glastonbury, Newington, Manchester, South Windsor, Rocky Hill, Wethersfield, West Hartford, & Windsor Connecticut. (We currently are not available in the City Of Hartford due to liability)

* Do you have Military discount

Yes, Veterans, Active duty, Guard and Reserve members receive a 10% discount on labor services only with proof of service.
